About the Planning Studies

The City of Rolling Meadows is adding to the citywide Comprehensive Plan, completed in 2019, to include further detail on two key study areas that will impact the city’s future development landscape. The planning studies focus on the Kirchoff Road Corridor, the Northwest Industrial Quadrant, and the roads connecting these areas, Rohlwing Road and Hicks Road.

The studies will focus on establishing a community vision for these areas, and then designing development concepts and a policy framework that will help guide these areas, and Rolling Meadows, into the future.
